My BBD started leaking down a few weeks ago; runs really rich at idle, lots of run on, need to crank for 45 seconds for a cold start. I took the top off after driving it, floats were hanging down within an hour. I presume that it's leaking through the ball check valve on the accelerator pump. I'll do a rebuild kit tomorrow but anyone give me an idea what I should inspect most carefully?

The balls and seats are about it. The BBD isn't noted for cracks, but giving it a good inspection won't hurt.
