Dana 30 spindle question

May be a stupid question for most, but haveing never worked on a front end of a vehicle, question is, is there a spindle on each side of an 81 CJ7 dana

Yup. The spindle holds all the bearings including the internal axle stub bearing.

Yes, there is one on each side.
