have 2001 Grand Cherokee with a high idle speed .... is this an indication I need to replace a sensor ?? Thanks

or clean your throttle body and ISS (Idle Speed Solenoid) motor using throttle body cleaner.

just a thought. you could have a leaking vacuum hose somewhere
