Last year for Jeep Cheroke with manual transmission??

Looking for a new Cheroke. Can't get a new 2005 Cheroke with a manual transmission. Anyone know what year and models of the Cheroke were the last to be made with a manual transmission?? If anyone knows - which one was the best?? - Thanx Ken

You can't find a new one because they stopped making them in 2001, and you could get them with a stick right up through the end.

Wish I cold buy a new one myself.

If he's outside the U.S., Jeep sells the Liberty as the Cherokee.

What, they don't believe in Liberty outside the US?

Sound like occupied Chrysler is playing political games with names.

It would get the about the same reaction as the Jeep "Motherhood" - a worthy notion but one that people would still fall about laughing over if you stuck it on a motor vehicle.

Or on the other end of the scale how about if an automaker brought back one of Studebakers names from the 30's...

Hey, how about the new 2006 Mercedes Dictator?

Of course Toyota took the Land Cruiser name years ago...

Mountain Bikes seem to have the stupidest names - I have a Kona "Dawg" ( the step up from the "Dawg-matic", while a mate has a GT "Aggressor".
