Looking for stock TJ fogs.

I tore mine up breaking a trail through an icy stream last weekend. Can anyone hook me up with a set? Like the subject says, I'm looking for stock... unless you have something cooler.

I think they want like $200+ at the dealer, not installed.

What do you suggest, David? n.

The more I think about it, the more I think I'll just ditch them unless someone returns some of my Jeep karma and gives me a set. n.

I dunno man... I actually thought about that last night to be honest, and didn't come up with an alternative. Other than no fog lights. There doesn't seem to be a practical way to protect them down there on the bumper, and if mounted higher, cease to be fog lights.

The solution is getting the cheapest ones you can find :)

Yup, that's what I'm thinking... Maybe I need to start another thread... "I have this empty, fully functional switch on my light stalk, what can I use it for?" n.

They wouldn't be any good for fog/driving lights, but maybe take a look at either a light bar up top, or a pair of lights that mount on the sides of the windshield? I've actually been contemplating either myself.

Couple examples from quadratec anyway...

Both of those bring up errors... got part numbers? n.

Hmmm I'll be damned... worked for me the other night, but errors for me now, too.

Ya, the examples I was trying to provide were part numbers:

97008.22 12110.23 12110.42

Definitely not fog lights, but alternatives...

Replace the dots with a space. Example: 97008 22 instead of 97008.22

check out DELTA 150 ROUND CLEAR FOG LIGHT KIT 1539-50 Product # 97016 02 Price: $ 54.95 a pair.

I too am a believer in that maybe you should not spend big bucks on fog lights because sooner or later you are going to break them. I ordered the above and I am very happy with them. They are almost exactly the same size as the stock ones and they have the advantage of the grill screen in which you can take off if you want to have the stock look. Same 55 watts as the original so you do not have to rewire. At this price, if you break one, no big deal..Just buy another pair to replace the broken one and you have another left for a spare!
