i have a 78 amc 304 with a stock intake manifold.....right next to the carb on the intake manifold there is a plate with 2 metal fuel lines coming out of it.....they make a couple loops inside the intake manifold and come out again.... one connect to the carb where it says "rich/lean", the other line connect just to the rear of that......can any one tell me what this part is call and/or where i can get one.......the lines rusted through and broke....

I think you're talking about the choke heater?? It's used to open the choke when the engine is hot.

the top ones should come out of the plate. I think one of mine rusted and I was able to remove it from the plate and install another easily. IIRC they should be like brake lines, one will have a compression fitting. You might be able to bend some new ones easily.
See if they come out of that plate easily. If you need pictures I think that I have a spare plate that I can take pictures of it. later, dave
