no start and stall out

Thanks for any help in advance:

My problem:

Sometimes it won't start (5 or 6 tries) but after a few minutes it will usually start. While driving it will die on me occasionally. It will usually start after a few cranks.

What I did so far:

I get spark; Changed plug and distributor wires; Replaced distributor cap, rotor and cam position sensor; Batter voltage ok; and Never got to the point of checking for fuel because it usually starts before I get there.

Please help because I feel I cannot trust this vehicle on a trip. Any ideas will be appreciated.
