ROTFL! That was pretty stupid of them. Just looking at it you know it wouldnt go thru there head first.

small furry animals)

But with all-wheel (or at least front and rear 4-wheel), what's stopping it from just backing out?? I can stil see the bottom of the rims on at least

3 wheels > ROTFL!

Off hand I'd say lack of traction on the remaining wheels. That front bit looks like they tried to back out. It could also be hung up between the front and rear bumpers.

Still though it must have been a real pain to get unstuck.

Yeah, there's something there that doesn't add up. Note that only the front tire has mud-packed lugs. Imagine trying to anchor your Jeep to winch that sucker out!

All the weight would be shifting forward onto the first axle, and looks like a big hummock between the first and second axles. The second axle looks to be catching air. With gravity pulling the wrong way the rears might not be able to get a good enough bite to back out.

Did you see this other stuck picture there?

for big cities, lots of roads are either frozen or mud.So the "big rigs" there are almost always all wheel drive.
