Pep Boys for brake job?

In that case i would recommend having a shop of good reputation do the job. A guy who went through trade school and earns a good living probably cares more about his work than a $8.00 an hour guy who learned his trade in prison. I know one guy who makes a lot of money fixing Walmart mistakes, like un-tightened oil plug engine rebuilds.

These leave marks also, but few guys except an alignment specialist buy a set.

Don't know how it is where you are, but Pep Boys does my brakes (with Raybestos pads) for free after I got them done the first time...and with a smile!! My TJ eats brakes like candy and I get a new set every

12-13 months. Haven't paid in 3 years... They also have good deals on Optima batteries in the fall. I'd do business with them, although maybe it's location-by-location.

Actually in my current life. LOL! My last employment was as a plumbing contractor when I got in the accident, so yup, I have lots of those kind of tools around. I have a sweet sub contract job just waiting for me as soon as I can get fully mobile here again. My main contractor is busy!
