Call the local DMV.

Generally if they are off-road lights they have to be covered when on-road. (at least around Oklahoma they do)

Fogs and Driving lamps are height regulated and have to be interlocked with the low/high beam.

Anything else has to be covered except for rear backup floods that can be interlocked into the backup lamps.
