This is an inappropriate slam for this NG. The common norm here indeed is to top post. There is no way that Dave would have known that you would take offense to the norm. Please refer to the thread above: "Speaking of Top Posting" for the group's consensus.

Actually making them easier to remove is a good thing. Less collateral damage. More typically the vehicle owner is looking at several thousand dollars worth of body work...since the perps want the lamps and frankly could not care less how much damage happens to the rest of the car in getting them off quickly.
