It's not assembled in Milwaukee from 37% percent American made parts !
I didn't see much there in August. I may be heading out east to Mancos near the end of the month, but in a car.
Mancos is almost a different continent from Silverton, as far as climate goes. One thing to like about being here is that if you get tired of the snow, or the heat, or the cold you don't have far to drive for a change.

i sure like it out there, i had to turn back and ride Ouray to Durango twice in one day on my way south. Is the highway plowed in winter, or are you stuck in Silverton??

It's open year round, except for avalanche control and road repair.
