Windshield mirror mount removal?

[...snipped...]

It follows logically; if you want a real Jeep, get a dog big enough to block your windshield rear-view mirror.

Down, Bill? It looks like your windshield's gone missing .

Just an FYI for you. Most Jeep center glass mirrors I have seen are on a double ball and socket rod. It has a ball and socket at each end so you can grab it, tilt the rod up and move it to the top edge of the windshield, instead of having the rod tilt down so the mirror is below the sun visors when they are down like the folks at the factory set them.

Here in Ontario Canada, we just need a working wiper... It doesn't mention up or down or even having to have glass...

Think it's suitable for a stock Cherokee?? (A friend remembers going on it YEARS ago in a 4x4 Toyota PU and recalls it had some steep/rocky sections)

(Still need to try this)

Thanks

It's definitely suitable for a stock Cherokee. The section where the picture was taken was a more difficult extension (a stock Cherokee could still do it though). If you bypass the extension, you would have stayed on the main trail -- which is very mild. There is a water crossing late winter through summer -- it's dry after that.

Your friend (EVERYTHING is steep/rocky in a Toyota) might be referring to this extension. There is also a fork near the end that leads to "Devil's Hole" -- that section is short, but rough. It's great place to swim and camp, though. The trail is also a great way to get to more difficult trails to the East in the Big Bear Lake area.

Like I said before, I'd be happy to show it to you. There are other trails in the area, too, ranging from easy to very difficult.

This is what I do with mine. Up and out of the way. It was the first thing I changes from their arrangements. The second thing was the driver side mirror in that I found my head having to turn too much so I discovered the second 'stop' if one twists the arm forward. Now it is just an eye shift to use it.
