96 Accent Replacement rear view mirror

Recently I had a windshield replaced which was cracked by a stone. Insurance covered it, but the installer after gluing the inside rear view mirror mount broke it off and a round slice of glass came off. He replaced the windshield. But now, I have bumped it and done the same. Does anyone know of a replacement mirror that can be attached to the hardliner? Other solutions? I suspect the windshield is not the brightest place to have a rear view mirror attached. My 1996 Accents is just about to go over 206,000 miles and is starting to show signs of age, but running just fine. I
