A few year ago i was in Montreal and the city ran out of windshiel washer you could not find some anywhere, got stuck on the highway during a metling ice. Never had a worse experience. Salt dry on the windshield and make it impossible to see.

If wurst comes to wurst, a bit of rubbing alcohol mixed with window cleaner works. Actually if worst really comes to worst, Bacardi 151 is pretty freezeproof.

doesn't your tounge get stuck to the windshield when your licking it off???

haha...well, if I get stuck then I'll end up 'freezeproof' using the BAcardi as my own antifreeze! haha

The biggest pain is the salt junk that washes over the edges and on to the side windows. Pointing a heater at it just helps it dry faster!

And wouldn't the rubbing alcohol make the rubber get brittle afterwards...then again, when ya got nothing else and you don't have to pee...may as well use the alcohol!

Patrick did pass the time by typing:

Water/Windex and everclear/rubbing alcohol to keep the freeze point down.
