First, hello. I bought a new 04 Opimia EX a couple of weeks ago. I drive between 200-300 miles a day. I?ve been tuning and racing since the mid ?70s.
A question: has anyone else had the rear seal leak on the tranny with the V6? I was under it last weekend and it seemed to be weeping a little.
Comment: I?ve put 2000 miles on it since I bought it November 20th. I love the car. With the few mods I?ve done, it?s becoming a wicked fast car. Frankly, I?m suprised. Had it to 130 today with a Z28 (late 90s). Seemed to hold it?s own without too much trouble. Can?t wait to start on the ECM.
Another comment: for the first 1000 miles or so, the handling was...wobbly. Lots of dips in corners, etc. After the first grand, it?s settled in and doesn?t seem to do it any more.
Yet another comment: Debadged it as soon as I got it home. Hate that Kia emblem. Got rid of them all and ordered the real one from Korea. Observations from family and friends include the following guesses: Benz E class Lexus BMW I take them for a ride before I tell them. I love to watch the reaction.
