Dealer on Merritt Island in florida says my car overheaded and will not fix the engine. My mechanic say NO WAY !! this car did not overhead and will go to court to say so. The service manager does not want to hear it. The customer support line at 1-800 says they cannot overrule the Kia mechanic so my choice is to get another option from yet another Kia dealer. Seems to me the dealer in my town know the dealer in the next town so I'm thinking this is not a wise move, just more frustation.
Dealer claims the head gasket is bad but there is no oil in the water or visa-versa and my mechanic did a dry then wet compression check and has assured me it is the piston ring. Any suggestions
