I have a 1989 Range Rover 3.9L I put a new rebuilt alternator in and now the teach is not working??? could it be a fuse or a relay that might be out if so which one do I look at thanks.

have you connected the wires right? There's an extra wire for the tacho... needs to be on the W terminal IIRC
