3.9 RR brake bleed

Hi All. I've just about finished (posted in here ages ago about sellling it, changed my mind :0) ) doing all the bits, it's on the road, but seems to spend a _lot_ of time pressurising the brake system now. I've bled off all round, and have very good braking, but the ABS light is on all the time. The system appears ok, all wires connected, new discs and pads are all classic parts supplied by LR dealer, so should all be ok. However, I didn't(and still don't) have a manual for this, and am wondering if there's another stage in the bleeding, to bleed the pump unit. If anyone knows, or even could mail me the necessary info, I'd be grateful. Oh, bloody thing is going to need a pair of tyres too soon, have you seen the price og BFG AT's? criminal....never mind, it's such a lovely lump to drive around in, I don't care, just have to get a set of spare vogue wheels with something grippy on now, then I can get ot properly muddy :0)

but you don't always get what you pay for...

BFG AT's are about twice the price of something like Nankangs, and I rather doubt they're twice as good, although they might last twice as long.

My objection to super-long-lived tyres is twofold:

1) if you damage one when it's not very worn, it's a big loss.

2) 'cos they're expensive, you tend to want to get the full use out of 'em, which means a fairly long period of not-all-that-much tread; and that always seems to coincide with winter.

In the long term, you get the same amount of time with quick-wear cheapos, but it's shorter on each individual tyre. Also, the financial wallet-attack for replacing them isn't so high and so if they're mostly-worn you might be more keen to replace 'sm sooner if you need decent tyres for some reason.
