Some times the crank pulley is a tad hard to remove. The rest is dead easy. Follow the book word for word and you will be fine.
Apart from where it tells you to loctite the pulley to the crank, that is utter BS. I grease the crank so that the pulley will come off easy next time but make sure I use thread lock on the bolt.
With a pre greased pulley you can do the job in 45 mins.......but it is not a race :-)
Make sure the modification has been done... It is rare to come across one that has not these days.
If it's an auto it can be hard to undo the crank pulley bolt without the special tool to lock the pulley.

Had one a few weeks ago - belt edge all worn off, but luckily for customer, still in one piece!

and you want a VBFO socket handle to undo the bugger. 27mm A/F, same as the wheel nuts, IIRC, and as for how tight, the book doesn't /say/ "f*cking tight" but it should do.
I just bought a 27mm 'Deep Impact' socket for the wheel nuts, and a hub nut spanner. £10 for both ... ;)
If you're missing a washer, don't just say "ah, it'll be fine without it.
My dad did his Disco this way and the belt snapped less than 100 miles later. While I was driving.
Seems it only broke rockers and bent pushrods though. (c:
