Avoiding speeding fines?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I agree with this. Three camera NIPs (52 in a 40, 48 in a 40 and 69 in a 60, all with mobile devices) in 2 years, all ignored as the NIP suggests you do if you wish to take it to court. No correspondence will be entered into! All three dropped by the lazy, money grabbing do-gooders who run the councils revenue generation scheme under the auspices of a road safety campaign.

Errr, rant off and licence still clean.

Depends on what the pinch was. 3 points for Failure to Declare is better than 6 points or a ban for a big speeding pinch.

No, Hereford, but only in the grounds of the Cathedral on 1 day of the year IIRC

Never seen a Welshman in York with a bow and arrow - well not after dusk.

Thanks for that. Maybe it would be simpler to plead senility and claim we can't remember who was driving at the time.

Hmm seems to be a few versions of that one... Now about that taffy hunt LOL

What if they get into an argument, it'd look like one arguing with himself... That sounds a bit Monty Python to me..

No it doesn't.

Not being able to remember who was driving is actually a defence, but you must be able to prove that this is probable - not just you being bloody minded.

If you were late receiving the form and you and the wife were sharing the driving that day it may be reasonable that you may not remember who was driving for what bit of the journey.

But would you be able to justify this?

See you in court!

It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "Me" saying something like:

No; it'd look like some mad git replying to nothing.

watch it, I know quite a few welsh archers, you'll get shot back at. I am one meself, too, though not actually born in Wales.

The only one I know is Pat. But I suppose that makes her kids half Welsh.
