Keith Hi,
he can also fit disk brakes.
Take care Pantelis
By far the most cost effective brake upgrade is simply to fit stainless braid hoses and bin the rubber ones... For £37.50 a set of 3 including postage to any UK mainlanf address it is a very cheap upgrade that makes a hall of an improvement... Have a look at the brake upgrade page ofwww.llama4x4.co.uk

Is this what Tim Hobbs had off you David?
I've got his old Disco now and it does stop - with alarming reliability...
Get a front axle and master cylinder/servo off a 109 2.6 or V8, and fit it. I doubt you'd get the parts new at reasonable price. Or fit a disc conversion.

Tim had the full jobby - hoses, kevlar motorsport grade pads and crossdrilled vented discs....

And use silicone brake fluid ( As sold bu Automec ) . Makes a big difference

Yeah, thought so. I'm more than happy to give an independent thumbs-up for them - as no doubt would the Merc driver on the ring road who almost shat himself as his front bumper moved closer to my tow hitch...
Have you locked up all four corners yet? It's an interesting ride when that happens....
Try contacting DLR at Dunsfold Surrey.(Home of the Dusfold Land Rover trust.) They will tell you the bits you need. Best to find a complete front axle I suspect. All Long wheel base Series 3's had uprated brakes and the
109 V8 had massive front brakes.DLR will be able to advise and source the parts for you.
