Just removed the head from a 200tdi engine [a blown head gasket]. There is a crack/split between the glow plug hole and injector hole on no3 and a small crack/split [5mm] from the glow plug hole on no2 and 3 going outwards.Is this a common problemn. Do these cracks make the head u/s , repairable or can it be refitted as is. Any help or advice would appreciated
