Has anyone DIY-ed side-window de-misters for their Defender?
I was thinking of running a small tube off the main windscreen vent pipe then feeding it out the side of the dash, near the door hinges. Haven't found anything to use as a neat vent though.
There may be another way. Connecting a flexible tube from the "air box" that runs the vents to the floor well area through into the door panel. The idea being that if the door panel is properly sealed, the only place for air to escape is up the inside of the window where there is a large, regular gap in the seal (outside it's flush). I think the dash-to-door hose could be fairly neatly done. Perhaps even a grommet type connection between the front end of the door and the front panel (which you could only see when the door is open) could be the answer.
Any thoughts?
