I missed this last weekend:
DEFRA interference
I think it just shows that they can't distinguish between reality and fictional soap operas. Remember the time when Phil Mitchell got shot?
Alex
More importantly, how can we trust "the media" when they make statements like "Only last week, Gordon Brown, the Chancellor, raised road tax for 4x4 drivers" in that article. He didn't, he raised tax on *all* PLG vehicles with emissons over x.xx%, which will affect an awful lot more drivers overall than just 4x4 drivers.
I have to say I've got so fed up with BBC bias, or if you prefer factual errors, that I no longer watch their TV news, and listen to internet radio rather than Radio2 (Jeremy Vine in particular).
Richard
I'm just amazed that anti-offroading articles have crossed so far over into fiction that they're now stampeding old women and raping cattle in soap operas too!
Oh where will it all end! We'll all be murdered in our beds! Bring back hanging for 4x4 drivers! Green lanes can be used by Paedophiles you know....
Hmmm not that the Telegraph would ever let facts get in the way of an article I know what a footpath is and I know what a bridleway is so is a bridlepath a road where horses must be carried? And on the other hand the westminster weasels are happy to let the ASBO crowd wander willynilly stealing and doing damage across farmland but want to ban legitimate careful drivers using ancient rights of way.
