The Disco developed faults in the NSF and tailgate central locking actuators recently. All the others, except the driver's door, have been replaced within the last 5 months, so I toddled off to Maplins to pick up the YD79L actuator for £7 which has gone fine in both rear doors.
Worked a treat on the tailgate, but not on the front passenger door. The mechanism is slightly different, and I suspect the Maplin actuator isn't beefy enough to move it, particularly as the LR one I took out was quite big.
Any suggestions as to where I could get a suitable actuator, short of paying £50-odd for a Land Rover Genuine Part?
