I have suddenly started with a problem (last Saturday) with the gearbox of my 1993 Disco 200 TDi
I seem to have a problem with the "gate" on the gearbox.
Let me explain.
Reverse, First and Second - all OK
Third seems to be a little further over in its position
Fourth should be directly across from third, but I have to shift the stick slightly to the right to get it making a quick change impossible
Fifth seems to be further across and the gate does not stop me pulling the stick over beyond fifth.
Has anyone any experience of this and what could be the problem (and cure)
