Door Latch issues. 99 range rover will 00 range latch still work?

I am having all the symptoms of a bad door latch. The 2000 model year takes a different part number than the 99 range rover of mine with my VIN #. I am wondering if it will still work.. I get the runaround.



1 dealer gives me a part number for my 99 another dealer gives me another part number and said the 1st dealer gave me the part # from a
  1. The online stores have different answers too.

I have a 99 Bosch engine Range Rover. Please tell me that the latch off a 00 will work, I found one from salvage cheap.

They work. same number and color of wires. Snip your new connector off and attach your old connector to the new latch's wires...
