Greetings (my first post here).
Some thoughtful previous owner of my P38 has scribbled a 4-digit number in a corner of the owner's manual.
This might (or alternatively might not) be the magic EKA (emergency key access) code.
It would be nice to verify this in advance of needing it.
The only way I can think of doing that would be to take the battery out of the key fob, and then trying to start the car using EKA.
That seems risky verging on foolish. Is there a better way?
