Hi all, I'm vaguely thinking about rebuilding a V8, to replace my own, as it's getting a little tired :0) and I don't want to take mine off the road.( 2 years and she still hasn't told me her name!!) Hence the idea of getting a spare, and rebuilding it on the bench. I'd love to buy an RPI or Bellargio or similar, but as I've just had 2 lots of work done on her, I can't really afford to. I figure I can do a rebuild for around £600, which includes pistons and possibly a bore or hone (now there's hope for you) over
3 months or so, which'll mean the coldest weather will be gone. So, I'm looking for a candidate, as inexpensively as possible. Does anyone have one lurking around that they don't want/need, and would be willing to part with it for a small sum? I'm in, depending on who you ask, east Suffolk or South Cambs, but could travel with trailer for a good deal :0)
