Felt strips

The rear sliding window on the drivers in my 90 CSW are staring to rattle.

One examination the felts strip the opening window runs against has perished away.

Where can I get a replacement?

I haven't seen them advertised anywhere...

The stuff you are after is called "flocking" or "flocked" well it is in the boat trade anyway, If you can't find it at a land rover spares suppliers, you should be able to find it at a boat chandlery. Try

might have to buy a minimum length though. GGJ

Unless things have changed from the old days it's a lined channel which is relatively easily replaced. You used to be able to buy it in long lengths - try the non-franchised 'specialists'.

It's available in cut lengths from the dealers.

Warning - window glass on this model comes in two thicknesses with channels to suit. You may wish to buy the stuff that matches your glass.
