Does anyone know the legality of fitting side facing seats in the back of a 1958 series 1 land rover. Would I have to fit seat belts or not? My front seats do not have them!
I hope someone can guide me in the right direction.

No problem, go ahead and fit them. Being side facing they do not need seat belts, whatever the age of the vehicle.
