Hi all,
The oil warning lamp started to come on in idle today on my D90. TDI200
On checking it was lowish, so shot round to Halfords for a litre.
On average how much engine oil should a TDI200 consume (if any !!)

From between next to nothing and a litre every couple of thousand miles. It is generally thought it best to regularly check the oil level by means of the dipstick so as never to get to the stage of no oil pressure and therefore accelerated wear.
