Hello to everybody, I have a defender 90 td5. I need to change the steering wheel, i unscrew the central bolt... but nothing, no way to extract the old one... i tryed to put son wd40 spray without result. Any good suggestion is apreciated! Best reguards, Lorenzo.

I found tapping around the edge from behind with a mallet, first on one edge then the other (180° apart), gradually moved it on the splines, took many light taps but worked in the end.

My usual approach is undo the bolt, sit in the driver's seat, grab the wheel at "quarter to three" and rock it. I daresay one day I'll find one that's sufficiently stick that I bend the wheel before it comes loose.
If it's got an airbag, make sure you follow the rules for removing it...
