injector pump identification

This injector pump is listed as being for a land rover 15J engine. it looks the same as I need for my 12J engine (2.5 n/a diesel a-la

1984). a second opinion please folks.

provided the 15J isn't the turbo, it ortta work, I reckon. The turbo might or might not use the same pump, can't say I've ever looked.

if it's for some variety of 2.5 NAD, then the worst that might happen is it needs retuning. At the end of the day, an injector pump for a normal diesel is pretty much of a muchness, provided it has the right number of cylinders and is of the same capacity. The 1.9 peugeoput/citroen engine, for example, was fitted with either bosch or lucas/CAV and they appear to be interchangeable.

I have no idea what a 15J engine is. according to my hanyes...

10J - later 2.25 n/a diesel 12J - (mine) 2.5 n/a diesel 19J - 2.5 turbo diesel then it's onto 200tdi and 300tdi.

I'll maybe get it if the price is right and just sell it on if it's not right.

aha. good ol' google. 14J and 15J are freight rover versions of the engine. 16J is forklifts, apparently :-)
