Rightly or not, I have bought one for my1989 TD90
There seem to be a number of views on where and in what direction to mount it - in front of radiator pushing tho'; behind radiator sucking thro'; behind radiator pushing back thro' (which seems to be the most common advice)
Views welcome - vehicle used mostly for muddy off-roading in game shooting environment rather than full off-roading
In front of the radiator pushing air back through the radiator.
Behind the rad.
Otherwise it's going to get full of off road game keepers crud and dead flies on the front.

If it is replacing a viscous fan, kenlowe say to use it as a pull fan (between engine and rad).
Mine WAS between engine and radiator BUT I went back to viscous after having constant trouble with the Kenlowe.

Mine's mounted in front of the radiator, no choice as the mechanical fan is behind, the Kenlowe is an additional fan for me rather than an alternative, due to high stationary usage in a hot climate.
It'll also possibly cut down on mud getting to your radiator fins when it's mounted in front.
Front mounting saves it spraying as much water and s**te round the engine bay if you forget to switch it off before wading. It also keeps the fan cooler and IME makes them last longer.
