miserable buggers.

top bid of just over 400 notes, and that was from an unlikely-sounding source: someone selling golf stuff in Germany.

Now I'm going to have to relist him.

FFS, there's over 400 quidsworth of parts on him.

My 109 came with bills easily totalling 1.5 times what I paid for it, including a complete recon engine, you'll never get back what you put in to an old Landi 8-(. Greg

That is entirely dependant on what you are using as a newsreader, and if 'already read' posts are displayed or not, hence the convention in usegroups to include context !!!!!

The price that series landies are going for put me off selling mine as i've put far too much into it over the last 5 years. Makes more sense to park it up until i can afford to drive and insure it again.

On or around Mon, 30 Jul 2007 00:19:05 -0700, Greg enlightened us thusly:

I don't expect to. getting back half would be nice, though. And I reckon I could make more than 400 by breaking him for spares, but he's too good for that.

Now wondering if I can get away with keeping him.

Plenty of people do exactly that, there are ususally several on ebay, so you're not alone. Greg

I think I'll keep mine forever, not much call for an old 109" now but it's sooooo reliable and costs nowt but an MOT every year. Max 6 seconds heat winter or summer and it *always* starts straight away. :-)
