mudwash

I'm an ignoramus when it comes to off-road vehicles, but I happen to have a P38. Please help!

Due to dire necessity, yesterday I drove it along a deeply rutted track, in wet conditions, that I would have expected only a farm tractor could manage. It coped amazingly well (in high suspension and low transfer), but now the bottom is deeply caked in mud. Should I now spray off all the mud with a hosepipe, or leave it to dry and flake off?

Just go to a jetwash & jetwash it off.

Definitely try to get it off before it sets to concrete. A lot of it won't flake off.

Either that or go and fine a decent Ford to cross. It doesn't have to be work :0)

Happy days!
