Old but tough

Yesterday evening, sorting out an ignition problem on the Lightweight, we discovered that there was a short in the distributor. Something had shifted slightly where the capacitor connected to the points assembly.

Somewhere along the way, while checking the plugs, the leads to the two rear cylinders got connected out of order.

The engine still started and ran.
