OT and On T ! Batteries and V8

Off topic first: A while ago somebody said about a site that sells and/or refurbishes rechargable batteries for power tools etc. Anyone know the site addy?

Now On Topic: Anyone know what happened to the Rover V8 engine production line, will it be made again by someone else?

Thanks Richard

As for the V8: The design goes back to the 1960s, available as a Buick/Oldsmobile and now as the Rover v8 and loved by the British as a powerful and low weight aluminium V8.

It will go on and on and on until petro or diesel go out of fashion. You might want to google or amazon the Rover books from Hardcastle. I have one and the book Rover V8 is a excellent resource on the history and installation of the Rover V8.

The "Rover" production line for the V8 closed around 2 years ago - did somebody pick it up when I wasn't looking? I thought the last production unit went to the museum at Gaydon a while ago.

I believe the engine production line was up for sale. Just wondered if anyone did actually buy it?

You believe correctly, but I don't know if anyone bought it, no.
