Does anyone have any info about connecting a Range Rover sat nav screen (YIE100080LNF) to an alternative video source such as SVGA or composite?

Nothing authoritave but I would assume that since it is embedded, they would not add anything that would add to the cost -such as composite/vGA out. besides which you would probably need to remove half the dash to get anywhere near it.
Check for RCA connections. If present take a Y-adapter and fit to new screen.
