P38a Range Rover Sat Nav

I have a 1998 Range Rover 4.6HSE. This model doesn't have Sat Nav fitted. I have just been able to purchase a standard P38 factory fit sat nav from a broken 2000 vogue. I have the screen, nav computer and GPS antenna.

Question is??? Does a 98HSE have the same wiring loom fitted as the later vogue?? Is it a case of locate the cable, plug and go???

If not, I do have the entire vehicle wiring loom from the vogue so how easy would it be to swap the wiring looms??? Am I better handing her over to an autosparks??

Thanks for any help

Regards

Spencer

Holy moly... swapping the loom is a majot headache on these things... I fitted an after market (Pioneer) Sat Nav to my 98 SE, and could not find any of the cables needed (was told later models have all the necessary cables on the radio connectors). Not to much of a problem except the speed pulse - if you need to know its a yellow wire on the speedo head assy - there are a couple of the but nothing a bit of trial and error can not sort out.
