Don't waster your money on a tiny solar panel. It would take weeks to put back the juice used in one start. Optima batteries are great, I have a blue top on a boat I am working on. I currently start the engine about once a year and between starts it maintains it's charge. Over five years I have charged it three times! However, you can buy quite a few ordinary batteries for the price of one Optima so I would not think the price was justified for a regularly used road vehicle. Cheers, Peter
