Yes - bend the wire arm that the float is connected to.

check it's the right sender unit. If it's the wrong resistance, you'll get silly readings.
Hi,
Just fitted a new fuel sender into my under-seat tank on SWB S111.
The tank is less than 1/2 full but the gauge now reads 110% full !
Is there an adjustment method ?
