I've just been painting mine, 'cos it was naff - 's now a fetching shade of terracotta.
but I was wondering if there are any new ones to be had?

Interesting question cos mine ain't going to last forever, there are some cracks.
I think I did see some company at one of the shows who restore old steering wheels, what bothers me if I have to replace mine is that I will have to get a smaller one putting more strain on my shoulders when I park the thing.
You could always lube the steering relay, that normally eases things off a tad... ?? That's what I did when I had my old SIII and I put an Ital steering wheel onto it. Badger.

Or, if you can find one of the right diameter, a Mini steering wheel boss is the same spline - but don't do what we tried once & put on a small Mini steering wheel - looked great but no way could we steer any more without the leverage a big wheel gives you. Of course, we all know you don't steer a Series - you aim it.
