Probably the regulator that is between the window carrier and the motor. You'll have to strip off the door interior trim and have a look. Expect to see stripped 'gear' teeth and/or a broken bit of linkage.
As a temporary fix, having removed the trim you should be able to get your hands under the window glass carrier and raise the window. You may even be lucky and be able to re-engage the teeth to allow the window to be powered to the top. Don't be tempted to lower it at this stage or to think that you have a solution!
If you have to get the window to the top by hand wedge it in place until you can fit new parts.
