But they're killing the planet with their evil 4x4! I bet they leave their TVs on standby too... I'm surprised the beeb didn't slip that in, or at least put a link to their "Are plasma screens 4x4s for the home" story on the sidebar.

Hey, how's that for a car bumper sticker for a landy;

"AND I leave my TV on standby...."

Perhaps they should heed the warnings from Iraq and the modern ballistics that seem to make this PR issue a bit of a joke

Not too many RPGs or landmines in the UK, not on the mainland anyway ;-)

And where does the CO2 in a can of fizzy drink come from?

No protection for the tyres? Body panels didn't look that, if at all, different from bog standard. Maybe they've just changed the glass the windscreen looked "chunky".

The way things are going down here I would'nt be too sure ( London South East ) :-))

Serious note though; 7.62 AP AK47 or Nato would do the job and I have a feeling that with the world awash with them and the increasing prevalence in criminal hands it wont be too long. Bear in mind the stated reason was "terrorist". Does'nt have to be RPG, Bahder Meinhoff designed a hollow charge device and used it in Germany over 20 years ago.

I read in the local rag today that Zara Philips is featuring in a new ad from Land Rover. They mentioned it on the local BBC news tonight too - after congratulating her for winning sports personality of the year (she be a local lass from round these yer parts) the luvvies couldn't help themselves but add that she was going to be featuring in an advert for "4x4's". The presenter said it in a barely disguised disapproving tone. Stupid bunts.

Farts are generaly methane, a much worse greenhouse gas than CO2... But I think you are way ahead.

It's very green, It's got a 2.5NA engine running on Mazola...

... they tow it to incidents with a Hummer.

Regards,

Simonm. (only joking, but with that much plate on it, they beter had've put something meaty in the front, and stiffened the springs a bit).
