Wanted: 110 V8 CSW

Anyone have a good one for sale? Or know of someone who has?

I want to pay £4000 but would go up to £5000 for something outstanding. I don't care about age, as long as it has wind-up windows and the later style (push-button) door handles. I wouldn't worry about mileage much either, if it's really sound and has history.

I would also look at something with mechanical problems if the price was right and the chassis and body were tip-top.

I've got cash ready now. I'm based near Woking in Surrey but will travel anywhere for a minter.

don't tempt me...

but seriously, mine doesn't really qualify for the body and chassis stipulation; the body needs a bit of attention though it's all there, and the rear crossmember probably only has a nother couple of year left in it. The rest of the chassis is sound thanks to plenty of oil leaks.

oh and it's lift-up handles, though they're better IMHO than the pushbutton ones, never liked the latter on the sherpa vans, they can give trouble and can freeze up.

looks tidy, but it's an old one which makes it 4-speeder. probably still worth it, even so, provided the engine's been well looked-after.

obviously worth what it's currently bid to... :-)

Looks very nice - almost identical to mine except it's a year newer, doesn't have a 120 litre gas tank instead of the one of the bench seats, and by the look of it its been better treated! Mine's in the garage for a new rear x-member - ouch!
