LS-430 VSC

Anybody knows at what speed does the VSC kick in? I tried to cause the car to spin on a slippery road yesterday, and it was easy to do at 20mph - just turn the steering wheel a bit and accelerate. The car went into a spin with a warning beep going off, but the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) did nothing as far as I could tell. I tried the same with the Snow-ECS engaged, but it made no difference. What gives?

My LS 430's VSC has operated on glare ice to respond to a fairly modest wiggle at not much more than brisk a walking speed. Suggest you may have a problem....

Generally, yes. I turn it off for some, but not many, driving environments. Turning it off also disables the ABS, which in normal traffic I'd just as soon have available.
