Ive driven the V6, the V6AWD, and the V8. The V6AWD feels weighted, but not necessarily in a bad way, kind of that solid Lexus feel like when compared to a Toyota version. It has a huge hump (HUGE) under the drivers right foot, your foot has to almost slide over it to get on the gas pedal. Didnt notice it when driving but none the less its an eyesore, looks like the carpet isnt pressed down. The V6 feels alot lighter in the steering. In a head to head drag race the AWD killed the V6 off the line and was quickly passed after that. The V6 motor has VERY loud injector noise, much louder than the RX330, this is due to the direct injection. Both of these use a cartridge style oil filter, a Lexus first, and interestingly the drivers front axle on the AWD goes through the oil pan. The V8 is not noticeably faster than the old GS430, but I didnt get to race them head to head or anything. The interiors are nice on these cars, led interior lights, a new control interface by your left knee that will make you cry if you get in/out with it open and hit it with your knee, and as far as Ive seen, even the vehicles without nav use a large display screen for the other controls.
